Jim Boneau

Jim Boneau is a facilitator, teacher, speaker and coach. Jim has led hundreds of circles in workplaces, community events and as a trainer for the VMC Facilitator Playshops. He has taught the VMC Mentor and DCF protocol for the past 17 years in the US, Europe and Japan. Jim has a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences, a certified coach, a VMC Trainer and a VMC Certified Drum Circle Facilitator. He is the founder of The Rumble Group, where he leads workshops and coaches leaders on how to shake things up to bring people together.

Aaron Kierbel

Aaron Kierbel is a professional drummer, educator and the founder of RhythmALLogy. His  workshops have been presented in schools, jails, shelters, festivals and corporate boardrooms. He is a professional member of the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild and is proud to be endorsed by Remo drums and Paiste cymbals. He has trained with top rhythm facilitators in the field, including Arthur Hull’s Village Music, Simon Faulkner’s Rhythm 2 Recovery model, Christine Stevens and Remo’s Health Rhythms, Cameron Tummel’s Rhythm For Youth and Doug Goodkin’s Orff teaching methodology.

Paul John Dear

Paul John Dear is the founder and driving force behind Rhythmbridge. He has worked with Master Drummers from Senegal, Ghana, Guinea, Morocco and Brazil. He has also performed with Beyondrum, The Kajamor Family, Maghribibeat and Tomorrows Ancestor. Paul is a VMC certified Drum Circle Trainer and manages the highly successful UK Playshop.
Stefano Baroni

Musician, Educator, Circular Music Facilitator, Drum Circle Facilitator endorsed by REMO® from Italy, Stefano has been dealing with with body music and other forms of circular music since 2011. He works throughout Italy and abroad with groups of teachers, actors, choirs, and employees in frameworks ranging from schools to mental health institutions, from prisons to corporate training programmes, from performance to community and team building. From 2017 collaborates with University of Bologna for the course of Artistic Vocology and for the first course in the world on Circular Music called Circlesinging Educational created by Albert Hera and Doctor Franco Fussi.

K. Michelle Lewis resides in Louisville, Kentucky and is an educator and percussionist of more than 20 years.  She is the CEO of DrumSmart LLC where she maintains a percussion studio, presents workshops at local, state and national levels and is a published author. She is currently pursuing a PhD in music education at the University of Kentucky.
Kumi Masunaga
Drumming for Health

Internationally acclaimed Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga is a REMO artist and founder of Drum Jam, based in Hong Kong. She has traveled from Africa to the Americas to Asia, learning rhythms to ignite her team-building programs. She has shared the stage with leading change-makers and wellness leaders including Jane Goodall, David Beckham, Shiva Rea and Dave Stringer. For over twenty years, tens of thousands of people have experienced her corporate team building, classrooms, parties and wellness retreats. She is trained in the evidence-based HealthRHYTHMS, and is a certified Music Medicine Facilitator, Rhythm2Recovery Facilitator, and Village Music Circles trainer. In response to the COVID pandemic, she has been offering online drum programs for communities and individuals.

Solinda Bautista
Variations on the Theme of Rhythmic Facilitation: Perspectives from Manila 

Solinda Bautista is a classical-crossover pianist, national music competitions winner in her youth, long-time corporate technology executive in the financial industry, and mother of an adult son with autism. She now harnesses music to help individuals of all ages and abilities, communities, and corporate teams in the Philippines through music therapy, group drumming facilitation and socio-emotional arts on one end, to adaptive piano teaching, coaching, and concertizing on the other.
